Direct input leads for CRM-220 equipment.
Some hearing aids have a direct input facility which is simply some form of socket or connecting plate which will allow a plug or other connector to feed sound directly into the hearing aid. Whilst each hearing aid manufacturer has hearing aids of differing shapes and thus connecting shoes select 'Hearing aid direct input shoes' from the left website panel to purchase or see them all these shoes can be used with the universal non-polarised to europlug direct input leads.
If you wear one hearing aid you will require a single lead and if you wear 2 aids you will need a V lead. The correct choice of length is important for comfort if in doubt there is no substitute for getting out a tape measure.
Connevans manufacture their own range of direct input leads in response to the market requirement for consistent supplies of good quality leads. The Connevans standard range of leads are more floppy than the previous dark blue range and much more robust than the previous thin cosmetic gold ones.
For the Connevans standard range of leads the traditional Y lead configuration has been replaced by a V format which has a nicer personal stereo look about it and with the extended selection of lengths they can be worn up the back if wished. The V lead has a small slider midway along the lead which can be moved by slightly wetting it.
We've produced a '
Beginners Guide to Direct Input' which you might find useful if you're new to direct input.
for use with two hearing aids - also available, in-line filter...
