LED Torches, Desk Lights, Floor Lights & USB lights

LED: Light Emitting Diode: a semiconductor that emits a narrow-spectrum light. This effect is a form of electroluminescence. The colour of the light depends on the composition and condition of the semiconducting material used.

Advantages of LEDs;

  • Unlike bulbs, LEDs are unlikely to fail suddenly. Instead you will experience a gradual lowering of light output and efficiency.
  • LEDs are built inside solid cases which protect them and make them extremely durable.
  • Most LEDs are designed to operate on very small amounts of electrical power, giving them a long lifespan and  making them ideal for equipment such as torches or electrical equipment.
  • LEDs give off much less heat than light bulbs and will light up faster.
