Description
This kit offers an easy-to-use, portable and reliable way
of providing access to a speaker or presenter for up to eight deaf
or hard of hearing people. A flexible and versatile
alternative to a fixed loop system, simply charge the equipment and
it is ready to use. No installation is required, there are
simply lightweight & unobtrusive receivers for individuals to
wear, either connecting to their hearing aids via the "loop" or "T"
programme or used with headphones.
It will help people to hear in many different situations, such as:
- presentations at group community meetings such as village hall activities
- U3A groups
- WI meetings
- heritage/history groups
- lipreading, signing and deaf awareness classes
- adult education and evening classes
- voluntary and grassroots organisations
- gym classes
- care home activities
- guided tours
... any location where somebody will be addressing a group of people.
The system includes a discrete Roger Clip On Mic, which would be worn by the person speaking either simply clipped to their clothing or hung around the neck with the supplied lanyard. It is supplied with a docking station for recharging. Eight Roger Neckloop receivers are also included. These would be work around the neck of the people listening and connect wirelessly to hearing aids set to the "loop" or "T" programme. People who don't wear hearing aids can also listen by plugging in headphones. One set is included and additional Roger Neckloop Headphones can be purchased if required. The headphones are also useful for a hearing person to use to check the system is working, for peace of mind before an important event. The Roger Neckloops have a range of up to 10 metres and will last a working day from full charge. Everything is supplied with a storage bag with compartments for the main components and plenty of space to store chargers and other items ready for whenever they're needed.

microphone, which enables clients to hear and understand more
speech in loud noise and over distance and is really easy to
wear.
The straightforward and universal Phonak Roger NeckLoop receiver can be used by any hearing aid make or cochlear implant with a "Loop" of "T" programme. Non hearing aid wearers can listen with headphones to help with speech clarity.
