Connevans working with RNID

Connevans is delighted to announce a new partnership with RNID ( formerly Action on Hearing Loss) to supply assistive hearing technology products to their supporters and audiences on our new dedicated website.

Following a strategic review, RNID are refocusing their priorities and have closed their online shop, although their nationwide team continue to provide help and advice to people looking for assistive products. Having a trusted partner like Connevans to whom they can signpost people to purchase equipment from is vitally important.

Connevans Managing Director, David Evans, said ... " going back to around 1969 it was the technical department of the RNID who helped and encouraged my father to develop an Auditory Trainer for use in schools for deaf children. If it were not for the RNID Connevans would probably not be in the 'deaf equipment' world that it is today.

The opportunity to work with RNID to supply products for their members is an exciting new phase for Connevans, it sees us going the full circle with our relationship and will give us both many areas to work together moving forward..."

Partnering with RNID will help Connevans maintain our unique position and ensure we are able to continue to support deaf people across the UK.

The COVID-19 crisis is challenging for all of us and truly shows the need for strong partnerships. Bringing together the renowned expertise of Connevans and the national reach of such a widely respected charity is the recipe for a perfect & longstanding partnership.

Connevans will donate 10% of sales from this website to RNID, the UK charity supporting deaf people and those with hearing loss and tinnitus. This will allow RNID to continue to provide information and support, campaign for equality and fund pioneering research.
