Bellman Domino Pro wireless listeners
The Domino Pro from Bellman is a flexible listening system, ideal for anyone who struggles with hearing on a day-to-day basis or anyone with hearing aids or cochlear implants. Digital signal processing using the 2.4GHz global frequency standard allows for clear and noise-free sound.
The Bellman Domino Pro is very intuitive - all functions are accessed at the push of a button with no complicated menus to navigate. Domino Pro brings out the words so you can hear them loud and clear, even at a distance - helping you to enjoy the company of friends and colleagues without effort.
The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver, both equipped with state of the art microphones. Sound is picked up by the microphones and converted into digital data. The speech is then streamed over an encrypted link, from the transmitter to the receiver. The receiver amplifies the speech and sends it either to in-ear earphones, or to a neckloop for use with hearing aids/cochlear implants on the 'loop' programme. From the receiver you can easily control the functions of both the transmitter and the receiver. The transmitter also includes a handy stereo input which allows you to stream high quality audio from your TV, computer or music device. They offer up to 12 hour operation and take less than 2.5 hours to charge.
The Domino Pro has two build-in microphone modes, so that you can easily switch between an omnidirectional and a directional microphone. The microphones on both the receiver unit and the transmitter unit have this function. With the directional microphone, you can 'point' towards the sound source that you are interested in listening to and the Domino Pro will reduce sound from other directions. This is particularly useful in difficult listening situations such as in crowds or in very noisy environments.
In the view of our evaluation team, these wireless systems from Bellman offer good sound quality and a modern design. They are easy to set up and use. The different microphone options in the Domino Pro are very useful, particularly in group listening situations.
