Widex hearing aid Earwire RITE

RITE image Receiver-in-the-ear (RITE) for Widex Receiver-in-the-ear hearing aids.

The receiver-in-the-ear (RITE) hearing aids are suitable for mild to severe hearing loss.

Compared to a classic behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aid, the receiver of the RITE (the loudspeaker) is placed in the ear-tip instead of in the housing, thereby reducing its size.

The RITE model consists of three parts: The housing, which sits behind the ear, and a thin earwire connecting the housing to the receiver. The receiver is placed in the concha of the ear.

The RITE model is a very discreet, and yet powerful hearing aid, which works fully automatically.

Note that the RITE model is quite similar to the RIC model. The difference is the placement of the receiver in the ear.

Widex Earwire RITE receiver wires are supplied in packs of 2 - one right and one left side - in a range of sizes/lengths ranging from -2 (that's minus 2) up to 5.

Your existing Widex RITE receiver will have the wire size (length) printed on it - make sure you know which size you currently have, beware of the possible confusion between -1 and 1 as well as -2 and 2.

If you have any doubt at all on the version you need please talk with us first, please do not try to guess because with the range of options available you will probably guess wrong and even if unused we do not accept returns for exchange!

Please note, before purchasing replacement receiver wires please make sure that you know how to safely remove and replace them yourself. Connevans will not accept any responsibility for any damage to hearing aids when you replace/fit spare parts!
