Description

The PPS telephone trigger - trigger unit channel 1 - is used with a PPS adaptor and BABT approved ringer. The ringer has a REN=1 (Please note that you must not exceed a total telephone system REN loading of 4) and a PTU connecting lead of approx. 380mm. The ringer has a socket in the front of it so that you can still use your telephone or textphone!

All telephone trigger units are extended range units.

The unit works equally well for Telephones or textphones.

This product may not be suitable for connection to commercial telephone systems, as a guide if a plain ordinary telephone works at an extension then this ringer will. It is possible to use a piezo sound sensor if direct connection is not possible standard PTU LF piezo part no. 433TPZSL, see right.

The telephone PTU is supplied with a PP3 alkaline battery.
