It wirelessly connects the hearing instruments to audio sources
for communication, entertainment and information purposes, such as
a mobile phone, landline phone, TV, music player, PC, etc.
The Oticon Streamer Pro is best worn around the neck and connects your hearing instruments wirelessly to different audio sources and makes your hearing instruments work like wireless headphones.
The Streamer Pro transmits the sound directly into both hearing instruments and thereby improves the audio experience by giving excellent sound clarity.
Streamer Pro gives you the following possibilities:
The Oticon ConnectLine TV adapter 2.0 takes the TV sound and wirelessly transmits a high fidelity signal to Streamer for an optimal TV experience. This dedicated solution for TV listening is easy to install and creates a high-end, natural sounding TV experience.
The TV sound arrives directly to the user’s hearing instruments via the Oticon Streamer Pro. The user can choose to hear the TV only through their hearing instruments or join in the conversation by keeping the microphones active.
The Oticon ConnectLine Phone adapter 2.0 is a Bluetooth interface between the conventional landline phone installation and the Oticon Streamer Pro which in effect turns a pair of hearing instruments into a wireless headset. It enables the client to access the home phone by using Streamer while offering outstanding sound quality, improved intelligibility and hands free phone usage at home.
As part of the ConnectLine system, the TV & Phone
applications both stay connected by the AutoConnect feature and
work seamlessly and simultaneously with other applications such as
home phone, cell phone and music player.

Features:
Ease of use
The TV adapter is easy to install and never needs charging. Daily use with Streamer is both user friendly and secure. The AutoConnect feature ensures that the ConnectLine TV adapter is always ready for use within a 30 ft range from the user. TV listening starts just by pressing the Audio button on Streamer. Indications on the TV adapter give clear status whether transmission is active or in stand-by.
Plugging in between the main phone (or base station) and the
phone wall
outlet, the Phone adapter installation is remarkably simple. Once
the Phone adapter and Streamer Pro are paired, the devices are
automatically ready for use whenever they are within 30 feet of
each other. Incoming calls are notified in the hearing instruments
and accepted by pushing the Streamer Phone button shortly. Outgoing
calls are done by dialling the phone normally. The call will
transfer automatically to the hearing instruments via Streamer
Pro.

During TV listening, the hearing instrument microphones are normally turned on (unless temporarily muted by the user). The sound level of the microphones (i.e. acoustic input from surroundings) can be muted by the user or can be attenuated relatively to the TV sound - please talk to your audiologist for more information about this.
Please Note the Streamer Pro requires software version 1.1 for the 'Select Me' function allowing you to pair multiple TV adaptors to a Streamer. Older versions can have their software upgraded for free. Your audiologist can do this through the fitting software. Alternatively it is possible to do this yourself via your computer, please contact Customer Services.
Useful FAQs
Does the TV adapter use Bluetooth as the wireless link to the Streamer?
Both yes and no.
Based on a standard Bluetooth protocol, Oticon has implemented a proprietary layer (reducing latency and enhancing bandwidth), which makes this Bluetooth implementation unique and therefore can only be used with the Streamer.
The TV wireless link is a standard Bluetooth link with identical requirements regarding pairing, range, frequency etc. However, watching TV is only supported by the Streamer (FW version 1.2 or later).

Streamer compatible Oticon hearing instruments always have a program for Streamer phone applications. The dedicated streamer phone program is automatically activated by the hearing instrument as soon a phone conversation is started through the Streamer. During phone listening, the hearing instrument microphones are normally turned on (unless temporarily muted by the user). The sound level of the microphones (i.e. acoustic input from surroundings) can be muted by the user or can be attenuated relatively to the phone sound - please talk to your audiologist for more information about this.

Adaptor 2.0 will work with both the Streamer and Streamer

Oticon Streamer Pro 1.3A, TV Adaptor 2.0 & Phone Adaptor 2.0 BUNDLE (requires linking) ( 3OCONB5L )
Reviewed by: Lynne Smith
I bought this bundle several months ago. All in all I am very pleased with it. Oticon have included every lead etc. that you may possibly need. Oticon gave me good support when I had a problem connecting to the TV adapter. The TV adapter is absolutely brilliant -although music is a bit wa wa wa. The phone adapter is good but I often get echoing or amplification of other sounds in the house which means I have to disconnect and just use the phone as normal (a big problem for me). Perhaps I stand too close to the phone handset? I also connect with my iPad and android phone - which effectively turn my hearing aids into wireless headphones - but some amount of fiddling is needed to connect to the streamer as the connectline app is not great. It has revolutionised my life in many ways - oh and I emailed inland revenue and I was able to buy it without VAT.
