Ei411H3 RF Remote Control
Product Description
The Ei411H3 Remote Control is designed for use with the
RadioLINK range of products. It increases the flexibility and
user friendliness of the RadioLINK range of alarms by allowing
the user to remotely "test" and "locate" the RF alarms in the
system.
The "Test" switch when activated will cause the
Ei405/405TY/3100RF/3105RF alarms to undergo a full button test,
while the alarms attached to an Ei168 Base will sound the alarm
and check the electronics.
When the alarm has been activated the "Hush" switch will hush
compatible alarms, Ei405 & Ei405TY (not the Ei3100RF or
Ei3105RF).
The "locate" switch will identify the alarm sensing fire and
cause all other interconnected alarms to stop sounding - the
locate function will operate with the Ei405, Ei405TY, Ei3100RF
& Ei3105RF.

Technical Specification
The Ei411H Remote Control is designed for use with the RadioLINK
range of products. It increases the flexibility and user
friendliness of the RadioLINK range of alarms by allowing the user
to remotely "test" and "locate" the RF alarms in the system.
The Ei411H3 Remote Control is powered by tamperproof lithium
cells designed to last the life of the product.
The Ei411H3 Remote Control uses advanced radio transceiver
technology with unique software coding to transmit the radio
signals. The transmissions are frequency modulated (FM) and use
Manchester coding to ensure robust signal integrity and avoid
signal noise interference.
The transmissions are frequency modulated (FM) and use Manchester
coding to ensure robust signal integrity and avoid signal noise
interference. The Ei411H3 has built in circuitry to aid suppression
of voltage transients and RF interference.
Specifications are subject to change
Unlike a smoke alarm, the Ei411H3 Remote Control does not need to sense smoke and so is not restricted in it's location on the ceiling/wall. Instead, it is desirable to place the Ei411H3 Remote Control on an exit route or similar where it can be activated easily.
When a suitable location has been selected, mark the screw holes. Drill with a suitable drill bit, insert the screw plugs, and screw the base into position.
The Ei411H3 Remote Control should be house coded to prevent
possible interference from neighbouring installations - see
instructions for more details.
House Code Procedure
1. Connect the battery
2. Press the house code switch until the amber light turns on
and then release
3. Similarly, place other alarms into house code mode
4. Check that the number of amber flashes (on each alarm)
corresponds to the number of alarms in your system
5. Remove all alarms from house code
6. Button test each alarm to check your system
