Solutions to improve the quality of life
Technical support information for connecting Trantec radio microphones to loop systems Firstly the output from a radio microphone receiver is at microphone level i.e. you can unplug a wired microphone and connect a radio microphone into the same socket. Radio mics are NOT suitable for connecting into aux or line level inputs.
Trantec radio microphone receiver output connections:
S3.2 & S3.5 unbalanced 6.3mm. S3500, S4.5 & S4500 both unbalanced 6.3mm or balanced XLR.
Loop amplifier microphone input connections:Sarabec LA110 & LA210, Echo-Megaloop, ILD20 & ILD60 all have 3.5mm microphone inputs.
ILD122, ILD252, ILD9, MP221 & MP522 all have balanced XLR microphone inputs.A range of lengths of XLR cables are in AV equipment & accessories.
