with a FM or IR system.

systems.
This audio adaptor does not shut off the environmental microphone when in use.

This cable is extremely expensive for what it is, especially as the build quality is so poor. For some strange reason the price is the same no matter if you buy the short or long cable. I am now onto my 4th cable, as the wire casing starts to split after a few months. For something this expensive I would have hoped they would cope better with daily use. You can now buy HDMI cables for your TV for a 10th of the price of one of these. Surely a third party supplier could produce something cheaper but better quality?
