Friedland's Libra+ is a stylish state-of-the art range of wirefree chimes and pushes. It includes functions new to door chimes such as identification icons and analogue volume control, as well as operating on the 868MHz FM frequency.

We had a Friedland chime (long since discontinued) with metal tubes that produced a lovely ding-dong sound that resonated for 7 or 8 seconds. We replaced it with this poor substitute. It's definitely not CD-quality sound. You might as well buy a much cheaper make.

I bought this item for my elderly mother as she cannot hear chimes. We bought an extra chime so that there was a visual aid in both the kitchen and front room. She now knows if someone is at the door and it is lovely so far. Previous wireless devices that we have purchased (elsewhere) have stopped working within a year. I will let you know about this one in 12 months time!
