Expressions teaching mitt

The Expressions mitt helps children to identify and understand a variety of emotions that they may, on occasions, struggle to deal with. This is idealy suited for use with deaf and hard of hearing children who may have problems recognising or communicating emotions through sign language.

The mitt features the following expressions:

  • Surprises Steven
  • Angry Alex
  • Sad Sarah
  • Happy Hannah
  • Worried William

Designed to fit an adult's hand, the Expressions mitt is educational but fun and perfect for using with young children.

The mitt also has a pocket on the back of the hand to hold, for example, self-made matching sound, word or picture cards (not included) so that the user can further extend understanding and recognition.  

All puppets have been tested and given the CE mark of approval of conformity for toys and meet or exceed EN71 toy safety regulations.
