Alarm Systems for Deaf & Hard of Hearing People


People with hearing difficulties require a different approach to fire protection, as a conventional alarm sounder will not be sufficient for their needs. Our range of alarms for the deaf and hearing impaired are the only units currently available from an experienced smoke alarm manufacturer. This RadioLINK unit removes the need to run wiring up to the alarm system and so provides a quick and easy installation.

 

  • Mains powered control panel with rechargeable battery back-up
  • High intensity integral strobe light
  • Vibrating pad for placing under a pillow or mattress
  • Auxiliary sockets (2 on Ei170RF) for connection of additional optional strobe lights or vibration pads
  • Capability for interconnection with up to 12 alarms
  • Test button on control panel for testing the system
  • Connections are monitored to check integrity of system
  • Alarm clock input facility
  • Pager output facility
  • Compatible with RadioLINK alarms systems (Ei170RF, Ei176RF only)
  • Systems available for mains or battery operated smoke alarms

Please note that a smoke detector is also required to use with this deaf alarm panel unit. 

 

If you would like to have an alarm clock connected to this unit we now suggest the Global 360 (40CL360) and a mono 3.5mm connecting lead (MXA117) - both shown in the panel on the right.
