Listening to mobile phones with a hearing aid

Connevans supply a range of products to help people use a mobile telephone with their hearing aids.

The T-Link & T-Loop inductive hands free products allow a digital mobile

phone to be used with the ‘T’ facility on a hearing aid.

The T-Link has a slim silhouette inductor hook that sits beside the hearing aid(s) the T-Loop is worn around the neck and they both have a microphone to pick up the wearer’s voice, are powered from the phone, have an on-hook/off-hook switch and are used in the same way as a conventional hands free kit.

Both the T-Links and T-Loop have a 2.5mm 3 pole jack plug, an adaptor will be required for use with many phones.

Nokia have an inductive neck loop, with hands free use, compatible with a limited range of Nokia phones.

In use the mobile phone should be kept as far away from the hearing aid as possible.
